Concept Phase - Speculative Evolution

"Behind the scenes" of my expedition notes of Pangea Proxima. A personal project about speculative evolution. I worked on this project for about 16 weeks as part of my final year in college. I managed this project independently and completely from home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with feedback from teachers and peers online generally once a week. I made concepts for several creatures of which I picked one to sculpt and render. For sculpting I used Zbrush, rendering was done in Maya with Arnold, the fur was made with Maya's Xgen. Final pass and touch ups with Photoshop. The final result and an extra render can be found in a separate post on my account here.
